How you can use Land
Land allows you to manage your fields, boundaries, guidance lines and flags. Advanced features allow you to merge fields together, export field reports, create new field boundaries from field data, and even create AutoPath (from Boundaries) guidance lines for Gen4 and newer John Deere displays.
How to get to “Land”
From any page in Operations Center, you can click “Setup” on the top toolbox, this will load the dropdown menu. In the dropdown, you will see the option for Land

Organizing your Client/Farm/Field data
Every one of your Fields will fall into a Farm, likewise, each of your Farms will belong to a Client. For example, you may have 1 Client with 3 Farms underneath the client, and each Farm may have 4 fields underneath it. So you have a total of 12 fields, under 3 Farms, all under 1 Client. If you've uploaded data from your monitor, it's not uncommon to find the same actual field under multiple farms or clients.
Step 1: Create Field Boundaries
Step 2: Merge Fields together
Step 3: Make Boundary edits
Step 4: Move Fields into the correct Farm
Step 5: Move Farms into the correct Client
Step 1: Creating Field Boundaries
With Field Data present in Operations Center, the only thing you're missing is your field boundaries. Operations Center has an easy to use tool that allows you to create field boundaries using your field data as the starting point.
Fields without boundaries will show this image next to the field name:

You can add a field boundary by pressing the yellow +Add button on the top right toolbox

From the Add Menu, you can add any of the options, but to add a boundary, we will want to select the Boundary Option.

To make the boundary from the field's planting, yield, or application data select the “From a previous Operation”. You can do this for multiple fields at a time.
Chose the fields you would like to create field boundaries for.

Select Next in the Bottom Right corner.
Now chose the operation that you want to use to create the boundary.

Typically, we recommend using either a seeding or a harvest map for this.
You can then change the operation on a field by field basis. For ease, we suggest using an auto-generated boundary that does not have excessive interior boundaries from data gaps. You can see the image below has some small data gaps on the top, bottom, and west side of the field.

Now save the boundary using the yellow button on the Left menu

You will want to make edits to the field boundaries after you've merged all of the fields together in Step 2
Step 2: Merging Fields
You can see here that we have 2 Separate fields named Field 3. One is under the Default Client and the other under the VRAFY Client. Select the checkbox next to each of them.

Now in the Top Right hand corner, you will see the option to Merge the fields

The Merge Fields popout window will allow you to chose where you want the merged fields to land. For this example, we want the merged fields to land in the VRAFY Client to match the rest of our fields

If both fields have a boundary, you will then have the option to either chose one of the existing boundaries, or merge the 2 boundaries together.
Step 3: Make Boundary edits
Click either the field name on the left menu, or click inside the field boundary on the map to select the field you would like to make boundary edits to.

Now click inside the field boundary again to pull up the boundary editor. The boundary should turn pink if done correctly. As the call-out at the top says. Now you can click on any shape to make edits.

With a shape selected, you should see the points of the shape show up on the map.

Now you can either delete this shape, or move the points to where they need to be.
To delete, you can press the “Delete” button on your computer's keyboard, or select the dropdown in the right menu, this will unveil an undo button and a trash can that you can press to delete the shape

Once you've deleted all of the unwanted interior boundaries, you should then make edits to the Exterior boundary.
Simply click and drag the points to where they should be on the field, cleaning up any field entrances, turn around points, or pulling the boundary out to the actual field boundary.
Before:

During:
selected points will show black. Delete points in the same way you deleted shapes.

After:

Click Save in the Left menu to save this boundary.

Step 4: Move Fields into the correct Farm and Client
Back on the main menu for Land, you can select “Clients and Farms” on the top toolbar to see your data organization structure. You can see we have Field 2 and Field 3 under the Default Client. We want to move these to VRAFY Client.

Select the checkbox next to the field names, then go to the Top Right toolbar to chose to move these to a new farm.

Chose the correct farm for these fields to be moved to, then select the Yellow “Move” button.

You can now archive the “Default Client” and “Default Farm” from your Client Farm Field structure. Click the checkbox next to each and return to the top right toolbar and select “Archive”

Your Client Farm Field structure should now be set up correctly!
