Overview:
The 06 and 07 formula groups in VRAFY are used to apply and manage secondary nutrients and micronutrients through variable-rate prescriptions.

Use Cases:
Build Soil Nutrient Levels:
Increase PPM of specific secondary or micronutrients.
Nutrient Balancing:
Adjust ratios between nutrients (e.g., Zn:Cu, Zn:P, Ca:B) to optimize plant uptake and correct antagonism issues.

Sulfur
AMS Target Sulfur to PPM
- Product: AMS (lbs/ac)
- How to run:
- Enter in your desired Sulfur PPM
- The Formula will read your most recent soil test and fertilize to that level
Element S Target Sulfur to PPM
- Product: Elemental Sulfur (85%-90%)
- How to run
- Enter in your desired Sulfur PPM
- The Formula will read your most recent soil test and fertilize to that level
Gypsum Target Sulfur to PPM
- Product: Gypsum
- How to run:
- Enter in your desired Sulfur PPM
- The Formula will read your most recent soil test and fertilize to that level
- When to use Gypsum:
- If you want to apply Sulfur to your field, but do not want to lower your pH
Zinc
Custom Zinc to PPM
- Product: Zinc Sulfate
- How to Run
- Enter in your desired Zn PPM in the “Vars”
- The formula will generate a prescription from your most recent soil test
Balance Zinc/Phos (Recommended)
- Product: Zinc Sulfate
- How it works:
- No User Variables
- Balances your Phos:Zn Ratio
- 10:1 Phos:Zn if a Olsen P test is available
- 7.5:1 Phos:Zn if a Bray or Mehlich 3 test is available
07 Micronutrients
Boron
Balance Boron/Calcium (Recommended)
- Product: Boron 15%
- Use: Apply Boron to be in line with Calcium (1ppm B: 1000ppm Ca)
Target Boron PPM
- Product: Boron 15%
- Use: Enter in desired Boron PPM
Iron
Balance Iron to Mn - 50% Iron
- Product: Iron 50%
- What it does:
- Case 1: If Iron is low (<100) and still higher than Manganese → boost Fe to 100.

Case 2: If Iron is low (<100) and Mn is higher → boost Fe to 100 and correct the Mn:Fe imbalance.
- (Roughly 2ppm Fe:1ppm Mn)
- Case 3: If Iron is OK (≥100) but Mn is higher → add Fe to get 50% more than Mn.
- Default: If none of those conditions apply, return 0.
Copper
Balance Zinc/Copper
- Product: Copper Sulfate 25%
- Use: Apply copper to be in balance with your zinc ppm.
- 2:1 Zinc: Copper
Balance Phos/Copper M3 Only (MEHLICH 3 Test Only)
- Product: Copper Sulfate 25%
- Apply Copper to be in balance with your Phosphorous Mehlich 3 PPM
- 30:1 Phos:Copper
Target Copper to PPM
- Product: Copper Sulfate 25%
- Apply product to get to desired copper PPM
Manganese
Mn Balance - M3 Test
- Product: Manganese Sulfate
- Use:
- Apply Manganese to get soil test levels to 45 PPM & Keep Mn at least half of Fe — to avoid antagonism from high Fe.
